The Weed family is a name in Upstate NY that has been well known since 1947. From the historic mill that resides in New Hope, NY to the popular pancake brand New Hope Mills, and now the versatile business of Pure Functional Foods. Dale Weed, the second-generation business founder, owner, and operator, has played a pivotal role in this enduring success. Almost all of Dale's children are involved in one of his established businesses. After selling New Hope Mills to his second oldest son, Dale opened the doors to Pure Functional Foods in 2012. The idea behind the name was to be Pure and Functional, with the focus of three pillars, People, Performance and Planet. In 2013 Dale's two sons and son-in-law, Dean Weed (Vice president) Dana Weed (General Manager), Eddy Korbel (Executive Assistant) joined to help grow the business to what it is today!

Pure Functional Foods is located is in Savannah, NY where the focus is on blending, producing, packing and co-packing. In addition to this versatilely, we have a diverse research and development team that specializes in using the best resources to maximize the impact for healthy, nutrient foods. By formulating new products from scratch we can help customers source product and process their own formulas with the highest quality standard.
